Full demonstration is available here:

http://www.peterclaridge.com/kabizzle

It allows you to search for PLR products that you may own and saves you having to search through all your computer folders for relevant products.

By doing a search, you can instantly find out if…

a) There are any relevant PLR products based on your search term

b) If you own any products from the various firesale and monthly content sites

c) When the product was released

d) You can then zero in on the product on your hard drive instead of searching through every folder.

Kabizzle is just at the proof of concept stage at the moment and I’m looking for some feedback before I take it any further.

Just purchased Jeremy Burns’ latest Source Code Goldmine (can you believe we’re up to version 5 now?!). The package must be like printing money for Jeremy. If you go beyond all the costs and figures that he bands around to make his package look super duper valuable and take the real costs then you are probably talking $800 to $1,000 per product max.

We’re talking $15,000 outlay max (probably as much as half that) and 500 copies at $197, it’s a cool $98,500. After affiliates, he’s left with $34,250. Not sure about you, but I wouldn’t mind that paycheck for 3 months work! Hmm…if you don’t hear from me in the next few months it’s because I’m busy developing Pete’s PLR Extravaganza

At the time of writing the package is still $197, but I think it’s due to go up to $297 soon. I wonder though if you emailed him and asked him if you could get it at the $197 price if he’ll agree Even using my ‘real world’ sums above, paying $197 for $15,000 worth of products is an incredible bargain.

This latest firesale includes the controversial (or incredible, depending on which forums/mailing lists you are on) AdSense In A Box. Basically this puts all your email content online to create the ‘unique’ content for…AdSense. What else?! Some say it’s amazing, others are saying it’s out of line. I’m not entirely sure how I’d feel if someone was subscribed to Freshly Squeezed for the sole purpose of publishing my content online for AdSense clicks.

I think Source Code Goldmine might be setting some new world records for the number of upsells/downsells Jeremy can get in in one sales transaction. There are two upsells and two downsells plus a squeeze page. One of the upsells is for the ebooks in audio format which is pretty decent. You can become the upsell king yourself if sell one of the ebooks on the front end for $37 and then upsell the audio version for another $17.

The downside to the audio products is that often you need to make changes to the content of the PLR ebooks to bump up the quality where as the audio will read the original ebook. Although Jeremy Burns’ PLR ebooks are of a good standard, they are still short of sales quality in my opinion. This is why I’ve always been uneasy peddling individual PLR ebooks for high prices (and one reason why I got a refund on the 20/20 project!).

Source Code Goldmine v5 is currently still available at $197 and can be purchased here.

About a month ago, John Reese launched BlogRush.com to a big old fan fare. It wasn’t anything new or different, but it was John Reese doing it, so ya kno’ it’s gotta be good, rite?

Well, it didn’t take long for people to start abusing the system, abuse that John claimed was “unforseen”. Que a very long email rant about protecting his investment and his employees livelihoods (very noble of him) and going after anyone found to be defrauding the system.

Now a few weeks later, John’s wrath has been realised in the great Blog Slap (it’s like a Google Slap, but from BlogRush.com). The Blog Slap means that thousands of blogs have been deemed to be unsuitable for the network - this blog included.

The backlash to this has been fierce - some people claiming they’ll never buy from John again (yeah, wait until Traffic Secrets 2.0 comes out!) so this is either a calculated risk from Mr. Reese or one great big mistake.

Some people, that own massive blog networks have turned the tables by stating that “BlogRush didn’t meet our quality standards and has therefore been dropped by our network” - convenient given that they had already been banned by BlogRush

You can read more about the BlogRush fun and games in this thread on Warrior Forum (it’s since been locked as people got a little nasty against John):

http://www.warriorforum.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=192405

Over on the Income.com blog they had to lock the comments too because people were flaming and all sorts.

John had to expect some sort of reaction to this audit. After thousands of blogs pumped up BlogRush.com when it launched only for it to bite the hand that fed it a few weeks later, no wonder it’s pissed a few people off.

They say that web traffic is the lifeblood of a website. A site with no traffic is not going to sell anything, so perhaps these people (’they’) are right. But as you will discover in Web Traffic In Black & White, not all web traffic was created equal.

Overview

This 52 page ebook from British SEO Expert, Tony Williams, discusses the many different sources you can get your traffic from. It is very well written with perfect English and Grammar - a far cry from the many rehashed PLR ebooks you may have read! The ebook is essentially split up in to two sections:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

How to get traffic to your site

Both are vast subjects in their own rights, but Tony has done a good job in covering most of the bases and giving just the ‘meat’ and no filler.

One thing I particularly liked about this ebook was that at the end of each section it referenced sources and places to go to get more information. This novel idea is very useful and something I haven’t seen before. It also serves as a way to back up the information that he is giving.

The search engine optimization part covers all the basics from the keyword research to optimizing your website. He also includes an excellent example proving that setting up your title and description properly will always rank higher in search engines than a site than hasn’t done this properly.

These little case studies are an excellent addition to the ebook and something that separates premium quality products from run of the mill PLR stuff. My only criticism on this is that there are not enough example case studies like this throughout the ebook.

The web traffic part is the bit that most people will probably find the most interesting because it’s less technical than the SEO section and doesn’t require tinkering around with your HTML. Web traffic strategies differ from SEO because you are trying to get readers to click on your links rather than get the search engines to rank you higher - although some web traffic strategies will also help your SEO efforts.

Tony has included no less than 12 different methods on getting links and traffic to your site. All of them work and all of them are very useful. Infact, the majority of the methods he talks about are free and cost you nothing. However, as with most things, it does take time, effort and consistancy.

Another subject that Tony touches on, and something that may seem quite controversial to many people (especially whiter than white SEO’s) is Blackhat SEO. This is a method where you try and manipulate the search engines to rank your sites very high in a very short space of time. The down side is the search engines will ban your site quickly.

Many ebooks on SEO and Web Traffic conveniently sidestep Blackhat SEO, but Tony even gives examples and methods that you can use. Although it’s entirely up to you whether you choose to use them!

Criticisms
The Web Traffic In Black & White is by no means perfect. There are areas that I felt could be improved. From a presentation point of view the line spacing could have been increased to make it easier to read on the screen. There could also have been some more screenshots to present the information better, like when giving examples of search engine results, the information could have been highlighted with some simple screenshots.

Some of the information that is provided isn’t backed up with evidence. I mentioned that he provides a few case studies where he proves certain things like how a properly formated title and description will outrank a site without this. These were excellent and really make the ebook stand out from the crown. But I felt that he could have included more examples like this.

Apart from the presentation and increasing the number of case studies, there isn’t much else that can be improved. This has been a well researched product and is full of useful information that you can start implementing right away.

Bonuses
Tony provides a couple of bonuses when you purchase Web Traffic In Black & White. One of them is a short report on how he went from 28 to 1774 visitors in less than 24 hours. The method he used is certainly very novel and not something I’ve come across before so I’ll definitely be putting that in to practice and seeing the results!

The other bonus is how he makes a regular $40 from a simple website that pre-sells a product as an affiliate. It tells you exactly what he does and how you can copy his methods. It even includes an example website which is pretty handy.

Conclusion
For just $27 this ebook is well priced. It will be exceptionally useful to SEO newbies and webmasters looking for ways to increase their traffic. For more advanced webmasters you may find some useful information - the bonus on how to get over 1700 visitors in 24 hours may be worth the price alone! I’ve been doing websites for over 6 years now and I’ve never heard or come across this method before.

I recently spoke to Tony and he’s busy working away on an update to the ebook which will hopefully address the criticisms I had. I’m not sure if buyers now will get a free update, but I will post it here if I find out.

If you are still not sure if the ebook is the right one for you, Tony has an unconditional 30 day moneyback guarantee. So essentially the risk is entirely on him.

The ebook costs $27 and can be purchased here.

Right. I’ve finally had a chance to sit down and listen to the 12 Month Internet Millionaire MP3’s. I can sum it up in two words…

You Know

Vince says these two words so often, sometimes as many as three times in a row (literally “you know…you know…you know“) that I found myself being distracted by what he was saying and getting more and more wound up by his incessant use of the phrase.

I hope he never does public speaking because he’ll suck at it

Next thing you should be aware of, this isn’t a course for teaching you how to make money online. It’s an interview (very indepth too) on how to make money with offline direct marketing.

By offline direct marketing I mean mailing out letters, magazine, radio and TV advertising.

There is very little that you can take and apply to your online business. A few tips on copywriting and backend offers, but it’s not a course on how to make money online.

To be honest, I didn’t read the 12 Month Internet Millionaire salesletter to carefully and didn’t pick up on the fact that this is all about offline marketing for a mostly offline business.

So for me, the course was completely useless. I have considered going for the money back guarantee, but at the end of the day it was my own fault I didn’t read the salesletter closely enough to determine if this product was for me.

If you are interested in starting your own direct mail order company or currently run one and want to increase your bottom line, then these MP3’s will probably be invaluable. There is a lot of information (although if you edited out all the “you knows” it would probably be half the length!).

The guy knows what he’s talking about when it comes to pulling in the sales and every base is covered. It was kind of interesting to learn how that whole industry works, but like I said, unless you are really set on doing it, the 12 Month Internet Millionaire course is not for you.

Russel has recently increased the price from $37 to $97, so if you didn’t get in at the start you’ll have to pay the extra. I don’t know if he’s increased the price of the upsells either (there’s two of them).

You can check out the salesletter here.

Today (Tuesday) I had no less than 5 emails land in my inbox all promoting different new products (and it’s only 5:30pm at the time of writing this!). It’s a little bit over whelming to be honest with you, so much so I barely know where to begin. I think I’m going to make a blog post about each product that’s being launched, just to be on the safe side.

But as a side note, with so many product launches, how do you stand out from the crowd? I have products from the likes of Gary Ambrose, Joel Comm, Russel Brunson, Willie Crawford…to name but a few

So how do you decide?! Eek, it’s overwhelming!

There are a few things going on today that need some attention so I thought I’d do another news roundup.

$20,000 in 20 Days Challenge
I decided to buy this course and have written a review about it earlier this week. In a nutshell I think it’s a good course but it’s slightly too expensive for what it is. I’m also not convinced you will manage $20k in 20 days (and as someone has pointed out, after expenses and commissions, it’s going to probably look more like $10k if you did manage it in 20 days).

To be honest, I’ve not seen many marketers jump in on this one. It’s a high ticket product and that usually generates a lot of interest, but apart from Kevin Wilke and Michael Savoie I haven’t seen any one else pushing it. Read in to that what you will.

The course is still available here.

Optin Voodoo
This is a new product from Keith Wellman the list building expert. I’m 99% sure he didn’t have anything to do with the product but someone approached him and said “hey I’ve got a cool little script, wanna JV?”. Anyway, Keith released a couple of videos, not sure if I am allowed to post them, but what they hey, they are promoting his products so he can’t complain:

http://fxmarketing.articulate-online.com/6489101474
http://fxmarketing.articulate-online.com/6489119725

In these videos he says that traditional squeeze pages are dead, but bear in mind that he’s trying to promote a new list building product so it’s in his best interests to talk down other methods while bigging up his own.

Optin Voodoo is just a little script you place on your salespage that pops up when the visitor is reading it and offers them a coupon if they subscribe to your list. When the person has subscribed it reveals the coupon. That’s essentially all it is. More than anything I’d say it’s a cool little tool rather than a ground breaking revolutionary list building tool.

Optin Voodoo costs $37 and can be found here. There’s a ‘platinum’ upgrade too but I couldn’t work out what it does.

Next Internet Millionaire
The latest episode of Joel Comm’s Next Internet Millionaire (which I’ve already pointed out, they don’t become millionaires…call it creative marketing) is available on NextInternetMillionaire.com.

I’m sure if you have 30 minutes to spare it’s something that you will watch, but I’ve never been in the frame of mind to sit down and watch an episode from start to finish yet.

X-Factor Traffic
This product is now live and taking orders. I talked about it in a previous post where I tried to second guess the methods they were going to mention in the ebook. The e-Book is only $27 so it could be worth a try - and there’s a 365 day money back guarantee.

X-Factor Traffic is available to buy here.

AdWords Analyzer has had an update that means it no longer pulls the keyword data from Overture but from Wordtracker. The reason for this is that the Overture search results haven’t been updated since January 2007. You can see for yourself by going to inventory.overture.com and doing a keyword search.

This is causing a problem for many keyword suggestion tools, including the previous version of AdWords Analyzer as the data was just out of date.

The latest version now pulls the information from WordTracker which gets it’s keyword information from a number of search engines including DogPile.com. The data isn’t as complete as Overture’s was because they have a smaller market share and hence a smaller sample to take the keywords from, but it is an improvement on the out of date keywords from Overture.

AdWords Analyzer still only costs $77 and is one of Jeff Aldersons best products in my opinion. It’s great not only for AdWords advertisers but for SEO specialists looking to see the competition and how competitive a phease is.

The other day I mentioned about a new product called The 20k in 20 Days Challenge. I didn’t give it much blog space because only a couple of marketers contacted me about it (it wasn’t really hyped like ppcclassroom.com).

Well, I re-read through the salespage and though “hey, what the heck”. It has a unconditional money back guarantee that if you follow the process you will make $20,000 in 20 days. If you don’t, then you are welcome to get your money back. It’s important to note that the 20 days don’t have to be consecutive

The report itself is quite daunting when you first download it - it’s over 250 pages long! EEK! However, I found it to be quite easy to read and was able to go through it within a few hours.

The report lays out your action plan that you need to do each day. This is quite helpful because it gives you a step by step plan to follow. One thing I would say though is that it doesn’t break down some of the tasks in to small enough chunks. Sometimes you might only have to tick off 3 things in a day, but I feel they could be broken down into six or seven parts.

Maybe it’s just me, but I like to have a detailed checklist for my projects listing every single little task.

I also think that on some days there is quite a lot to do, particularly if you are doing it part time. If you are doing the course part time, at weekends or after work or after collage then it will probably take a lot longer than 20 days - maybe 30-40 days.

Unless you don’t have the first idea about internet marketing then you should have guessed that the only way you were going to make $20k in 20 days from scratch was by doing Joint Ventures (JV’s). Doing the JV’s is the crux of the whole challenge. If you can’t do them or have an aversion to them then you will not succeed.

Michael does almost take you by the hand when he shows you how to do the JV’s but I think it would have been nice if he gave a case study on one of his past products so show the exact method he used.

Because of the way he approaches JV’s, I just don’t think (or can’t see how) it will work in the internet marketing niche. I think it would do great in most other niches where a lot of people have sites that are not trying to sell you something, but in the internet marketing arena…I’m not so sure.

You see, if you have a Copywriting ebook, then recommended JV partners are people with sites about Copywriting and more often than not, they will be trying to sell a competing ebook so will be less likely to be open to a JV

I’m probably looking at this all wrong, but I have a lot of resistance to it. I think it would work great in other niches, but just not in internet marketing. Am I wrong? Tell me why…

Another aspect of this course is that you are supposed to sell your product before you’ve even made it. Now don’t get me wrong, in the internet marketing niche I think this is OK because people are probably used to it. But say in the Fly Fishing niche where someone has never bought an ebook before, when they’ve made their payment are they going to be happy that they have to wait up to 5 days to get the ebook?

Will you even make any sales if you tell people up front that they won’t be able to get it for another 5 days? Again, I might be being narrow minded, but I just can’t see it happening. Can you prove to me otherwise?

To finish this review off, I think Michael has come out with a good product, I’m a bit sketchy on whether it’s a fair price because you do get some good bonuses (2 of them are his existing products and the others cost a few dollars so it didn’t cost him anything to provide the bonuses), but is it all worth $250? $167 maybe, $197 at a push.

There’s an upsell offering another 20 PLR products for $197, but since these are not PLR products he’s made himself then $197 is a crazy price to pay.

I’ve not attempted to follow the advice in his book, but just from a gut instinct I would say you would be hard pushed to make your $20,000 in 20 days. But critics may argue that I’ve never made $20,000 in a month (went close once at $14,950) so who am I to say what’s possible and what’s not.

The 20-20 challenge is still available at www.the2020challenge.com
